ROHAN DRAPE (VIC)

Rohan Drape lives in a northern suburb of Melbourne. He has studied music with John McCaughey and Larry Polansky.

Rohan Drape is part of constellation in Melbourne.

His work has been commissioned, collected, installed and performed by public and private institutions including the National Galleries of Australia & New Zealand, the Neuer Aachener Kunstverein & the Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, Lombard Fried Fine Arts & China Art Objects, and the Universities of Ballarat & Queensland.  His installation 'Penalogical Pianology: The Timbers of Justice' is currently showing at the 17th Biennale of Sydney (May - August 2010).  He is currently investigating the 1994 car bombing of painter Rob Scholte for a work provisionally entitled 'Scholte Gestalte' that is to be installed at the Institute of Modern Art (October 2010).  For details see: http://slavepianos.org
