Liquid Architecture

Buttress O’Kneel is the P!nk of the electro-activist world, or perhaps the Negativland of breakcore, or, perhaps even more accurately, the Mother Theresa of bio-anarchic post-grrl underculture. She has two main passions in her work: the destabilisation and reworking of corporatised pop, and the demystification of mass-media bias. She deals with these two main metapolitical prongs by dividing her work into the overtly-political “audio documentaries”, and the plunderphonic “compop” series (”compop” being a word coined by her to describe her musical “pop compost”).
