KIRRI BUCHLER (VIC)

Kirri Buchler is a violinist and sound designer who has been freelancing in Melbourne since 2002 in a variety of bands crossing a number of different genres: manouche swing, modern classical, tango, Balkan, free jazz, country rock, cabaret, and experimental to name a few.

In most recent times she has done sound design work for Tipsy Teacup, Roundangle Sensory Theatre, Sanctum Theatre, and Burning Deck.  She enjoys different noises and has a recurring dream of being hit by a tsunami which she hopes does not come true in the too near future.

Kirri Buchler is part of the exhibition Semantic Clutter at West Space, Melbourne.
