For the past two years Greg Shapley has been director of the Sound of Failure Festival and the Don’t Look Gallery. His art practice spans a number of media, including contemporary classical composition, new media art, and kinetic sculpture.
His documentary (with Chris Ho), “The Empires New Clothes” (narrated by Susan Sarandon, music by Philip Glass) recently screened in the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival, and his work for six tubas “Machine” was played by the UNITUBA Ensemble, University of Northern Iowa.Subscribe to our newsletter.
