Description

Hermann’s has established itself as a unique and sought after club and live music venue.

It features a top notch in house production, a large courtyard which allows a lot of flexibility in venue set ups and event capacities, and is in a perfect position on City Road close to Newtown and the inner city.

Capacity
The capacity of the inside of Hermann’s Bar is 290. Most events will also use a section of the courtyard next to the main venue entrance that can generally accommodate 50 – 100 more patrons. The size of this outside area can be increased to accommodate more than this number in some cases.

Licensed
Monday - Saturday, midday – 3am
Sunday, 10am – 12am

Location
Hermann’s is located on the corner of City Road and Butlin Avenue directly opposite the main University gates and easily accessible by public transport, taxi and car, it is close to the bars, cafes and restaurants of Newtown, Glebe and Chippendale.

Albert Mishriki is an artist and sound designer who builds sound sculptures and creates musical compositions featuring flutes, guitars, synthesisers, harps, kitchen junk, bicycle bits, bells, pieces of cars, springs, plastic pipes and umbrellas.

Albert Mishriki is part of the Sound Playground in Melbourne.
