Artist Lisa Lerkenfeldt’s multi-disciplinary work embraces musique concrète, environmentalism, noise and classical motifs in their composition and imagining. Concerned with disruptions in form and broader ecological crisis, she arranges with experimental ensembles, electronics and field recording. Three new releases surfaced in 2020; \*A Liquor Of Daisies\* (Shelter Press), a music for multiple players and machines, \*Collagen\* (Shelter Press), her debut LP and scorebook and \*A Garden Dissolves Into Black Silk\* (Archaic Vaults), a durational experiment in magnetic tape erosion and interspecies listening. Merinda Dias-Jayasinha (she/her) is a creative vocalist, improviser, and composer. With impressive vocal ability and versatility, her practice explores heartfelt and lyrical storytelling, genre-blurring compositions, and the melodic and textural potential of the voice. The Sri Lankan/Australian musician explores her artistry through a number of ensembles and projects, and delights in collaboration. Deanne Butterworth is a performer, choreographer and teacher. For over 25 years she has shown work across many platforms including Next Wave Festival, Dance Massive, NGV, Dancehouse, Melbourne Fringe, Dance New Amsterdam (NYC), Hong Kong (with Jo Lloyd), West Space, Bus Gallery, MPavilion, RMIT Gallery, Melbourne Art Fair, Temperance Hall, and more. Deanne was an AIR at Boyd Studio Southbank (2016), studio artist at Gertrude Contemporary (2017-19), resident Artist at Temperance Hall (2019), and resident artist at The Pavilion, Fitzroy Gardens (2021). Deanne has performed in the works of Shelley Lasica, Sandra Parker, Jo Lloyd, Phillip Adams, Shian Law, Lee Serle, Brooke Stamp and others. She has also performed in the work of many visual artists including Sally Smart, Linda Tegg, Damiano Bertoli, Justene Williams, and Michaela Dwyer. Her most recent collaborative work, the highly lauded DOUBLE DOUBLE, was created with Jo Lloyd, and has been performed at Ian Potter Museum of Art (2019), Liveworks (2019), and MONAFOMA (2020). Josephine Mead is a visual artist, writer and curator based on Wurundjeri woi-wurrung Country. She works through photography, sculpture, installation and writing to explore personal notions of support. Her recent work has positioned female family members as support-structures, considered the body as a site of discursive practice, explored notions of deep listening, and examined the temporal and sonic nature of writing and photography. She has exhibited widely nationally and internationally and has undertaken residency programs in rural Victoria, Mexico, Portugal, Turkey and Germany.
